What We Consider Spam
Spam is any unsolicited email sent to recipients who haven’t explicitly given permission to receive it. Our definition includes:
| Unsolicited Emails |
Sending to purchased, rented, or scraped email lists. Sending to anyone who hasn’t opted in to receive your emails. |
| Misleading Content |
False or deceptive subject lines, sender names, or reply-to addresses. Any attempt to disguise the commercial nature of your message. |
| Missing Unsubscribe |
Emails without a clear, working unsubscribe mechanism. Making it difficult for recipients to opt out. |
| Prohibited Content |
Illegal products or services, adult content, phishing attempts, malware, or any content that violates our Terms of Service. |
Your Responsibilities as a User
When you use MailCore Send, you agree to follow these rules:
| Get Permission First |
Only send emails to people who have explicitly opted in to receive them. Keep records of how and when consent was obtained. |
| Be Honest |
Use accurate sender information and clear subject lines that reflect your email’s content. Never impersonate others or mislead recipients. |
| Provide Easy Opt-Out |
Include a working unsubscribe link in every email. Honour unsubscribe requests within 10 days. We automatically do this for you! |
| Monitor Your Lists |
Remove bounced addresses, honour unsubscribes promptly, and keep your lists clean and up-to-date. |
How We Enforce This Policy
We take spam seriously and actively monitor for violations. Here’s what happens if we detect spam activity:
First Violation: We’ll suspend your account immediately and contact you to investigate. If it’s a genuine mistake, we’ll help you understand the rules and may restore access.
Serious or Repeated Violations: Your account will be permanently terminated. No refunds will be issued for purchased credits or subscriptions.
We may also report serious violations to relevant authorities and anti-spam organizations to protect the wider email ecosystem.
Legal Compliance
MailCore Send complies with major anti-spam legislation worldwide, including:
| CAN-SPAM Act (USA) |
Federal law requiring honest headers, accurate subject lines, identification as advertisements, and easy opt-out mechanisms. |
| GDPR (EU) |
Requires explicit consent, data protection, and the right to be forgotten. We provide tools to help you stay compliant. |
| CASL (Canada) |
Canada’s anti-spam law requiring express consent before sending commercial emails. One of the strictest in the world. |
| PECR (UK) |
UK regulations governing electronic communications, requiring consent for marketing emails. |
While we provide the tools to help you comply,
you are ultimately responsible for ensuring your email campaigns meet all legal requirements in your jurisdiction and your recipients’ jurisdictions.
